A miscellany (readings & music) will be held in St Paul’s Church, Banagher on the evening of Charlotte Brontë’s birthday. An engaging evening of local musical talent and readers is planned with a focus on Charlotte and Arthur Bell Nicholls. Guests will be invited to attend in period dress. The event will be recorded, photographed and streamed live.
Guests will then be invited to proceed to the graveyard where there will be an unveiling of a plaque to honour Brontë and Bell Nicholls. This will be followed by a birthday celebration with a screening of images, stories and music at Charlotte’s Way.
This event is to celebrate Charlotte Brontë’s bi-centenary. Tickets for this event are limited.
