Mary is a wild food forager and educator who connects people to their places and heritage through exploration, observation and the use of wild plants.
workshops of 4 hours usually run as follows,
This workshop will include:
- A guided foraging walk at an easily accessible site.
- See and discuss at least 20 different plants, flowers and fungi. Learn of their heritage, folklore and herbal uses.
- Demonstration on making something simple from wild finds (syrup or pesto).
- Tastings and recipe swap.
