Foraging field trip with Wild Food Mary

Mary is a wild food forager and educator who connects people to their places and heritage through exploration, observation and the use of wild plants.
workshops of 4 hours usually run as follows,

This workshop will include:

  • A guided foraging walk at an easily accessible site.
  • See and discus at least 20 different plants, flowers and fungi. Learn of their heritage, folklore and herbal uses.
  • Demonstration on making something simple from wild finds (syrup or pesto).
  • Tastings and recipe swop.
