That Beats Banagher Festival Returns This July!
The much-loved That Beats Banagher Festival, Banagher’s annual summer celebration, returns this July with an exciting programme of events and activities for all ages. From the return of the popular Forged in Ireland blacksmithing demonstrations and iron ore workshops to a special Community Celebration at Shannon Bank Park, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
This year’s festival will also mark the official celebration of Banagher’s beautifully refurbished outdoor swimming pool and community space, alongside a host of family-friendly entertainment, workshops, demonstrations, and outdoor activities throughout the weekend.
Celebrating its 13th year, the festival will take place from 24th–26th July 2026, with events hosted at various locations across the town. A special focus will be placed on Banagher’s unique connection to the water, showcasing the town’s stunning setting on the banks of the River Shannon.
Visitors can look forward to a packed weekend of activities, classes, workshops, live demonstrations, and community events. More exciting announcements and programme details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
