Test your precision hurling skills by hitting a floating target on the Shannon!  Or if spectating is your thing, we would be delighted to welcome you.   You will be invited to puck a sliotar, aim,  and ideally get it into the goal net which will be floating in the river!  Contestants will be in one of four categories: adult male, adult female, junior male, and junior female. There will be a prize for the winners in each category.

Join us on Sunday, the 28th, for 'Sunday Funday' at Banager Park! There will be an array of entertainment and activities suitable for the whole family. Enjoy face painting, nail art, games, and arts & crafts. As part of the 11th That Beats Banagher Festival there will be a Heritage Walk along Banagher's Main Street on Sunday 28th July starting outside Saint Paul's Church at 12.30 p.m. The walk will include the town's three churches, Charlotte's Way, (formerly Hill House), the old graveyard, Crank House, the Bridge Barracks  Banagher Bridge and other points of interest. The walk is free but donations towards the festival will be accepted. The walk will be led by James Scully and others and will last for about 90 minutes.

Have you wanted to try kayaking, Here's your chance. Mid Ireland Adventure is hosting a splash and dash kayak taster on Sunday 28th July. We supply, buoyancy aids, and helmets!  You bring togs, towel and a YOUR sense of Adventure! Booking times: Session 1. 2 pm – 3 pm.  Session 2 3 pm – 4 pm. Session 3 4 pm – 5 pm.
