The Shannon is such a luxury to have available to us in Banagher that we try to have as many activities as possible on or near the water.

This year Shannon Adventure Canoeing are holding an introduction to Open Canadian Canoeing.

This is a great opportunity to not only learn a new skill but also perhaps discover something that you might enjoy and like to do more of.

After this course, there’s so much more you can do. If you like you can do some of the follow-up courses at Shannon Adventure Canoeing, and after that, you’ll be eligible to take part in organized canoe trails on the River Shannon, River Suck, River Brosna and River Barrow.
